Acadia Pear - Homestead House Milk Paint

Milk Paint comes as a powder, so you just need to add water, give it a little stir and then you're ready to paint.

Acadia Pear - An Olive green, with a muted grey tone. Pairs classically with any neutral such as Champlain or Raw Silk. For a more traditional looks pair with yellows, reds and oranges such as Buttermilk Cream, Barn Red or Autumn Leaves. 

You can create so many wonderful effects and styles with this paint. Including vintage chippy, boho, industrial, authentic distressed, smooth, chic and so much more.

It can be a solid colour paint, stain or paste depending on how much water you add. If you want to avoid a chippy look then you can apply a base coat of Fusion's UltraGrip first.

🖤 Mix 1 part water with 1 part powder for solid coverage

🖤 Add more water to create a wash or a stain

🖤 Add less water to create texture 

🖤 Use wax or Hemp Oil to create a resist to encourage chipping and make your paint easy to distress 

Apply paint evenly to a clean surface then lightly sand to distress.

50g: 1 square meter (a side table, several mirror frames or small chair)
330g: 7 square meter (a dresser and a side table)
