What is WoodUbend?
WoodUbend mouldings are decorative appliques made from a unique blend of recycled wood pulp and resin. When heated, they become flexible and can be shaped to fit flat or curved surfaces. Once cooled, they harden into a durable, wood-like finish ready for painting or staining.
How to Use WoodUbend Mouldings
Using WoodUbend is simple and beginner-friendly:
Step 1 – Heat the moulding using a hair dryer or heat gun on the MDF board provided in the packaging. This will make it flexible.
Step 2 – Apply a thin layer of wood glue to the back of the heated moulding making sure you cover the entire footprint of the piece. Press onto the surface, ensuring a firm bond.
Step 3 – Clean off any excess glue with a damp paintbrush or baby wipe.
Step 4 – Hold in place until the moulding cools down.
Step 5- Once your moulding has completely cooled down, it’s now ready to paint and decorate
