BLACK WALNUT GLAZE - Wise Owl Paint
Bring out the details of your piece with our glaze, perfect for any project!
For best results, lightly sand your painted piece. Sealing with varnish will help the glaze to move around easier but it does dry fast so you need to work quickly. Brush on glaze in sections and use a damp lint-free cloth to remove the excess. Allow glaze to fully dry for 2 hours.
Glaze can also be used over unfinished wood instead of stain.
Glaze produces a strong finish but varnish may be applied after 24 hours. Wearing gloves can prevent temporary staining.
Please note: the colour you see is what it looks like dried. When you open the tin it will be much paler!
We recommend using Wise Owl varnish in matte or satin.
