Black and Walnut Chest Of Drawers 

Introducing this classic, timeless piece of furniture. 

In excellent condition for its age this piece was perfect for restoration.

The body of the piece has been painted in a black paint with a satin finish for a contemporary feel.

It stands on cabriole feet with intricate carvings which have been painted black to match the body of the piece. 

But the beautiful walnut drawer front and top of the piece have been carefully stripped and refinished in a traditional varnish to make the most of the figure walnut wood grain. 

The original handles, in solid brass, have been cleaned and polished to restore them to their former glory.

This is a larger sized chest of drawers. Whether you need a bit of extra space for your summer skirts or to store away your jumpers, you have ample room.

CONDITION 

My vintage pieces are carefully selected to give you a truly unique piece for your home.

I remain faithful to the history and character of my pieces whilst ensuring I deliver pieces that are fully functioning and structurally sound.

This piece is in excellent condition for its age and is exceptionally clean on the inside.

There are a few imperfections in the veneer commensurate with its age.  

Each drawer has a lock and the piece comes with a working key. Some of the locks are a little stiff so use them at your own risk! 

DELIVERY

All my pieces are delivered by my trusted furniture couriers.

Delivery can take around 2 weeks, but I will keep you updated. 

For Cornwall, Highlands, Islands and Ireland please get in touch prior to purchase as there may be an extra charge for delivery. 

Normally my courier works alone and may need assistance with larger items. If you require a two person team, please let me know when you purchase as an extra charge may be payable.

COLOUR

If you are unsure on the colour of any of my pieces, I will happily send out a painted sample stick so you can see the colour against your existing decor.

CARING FOR YOUR PIECE 

Your new furniture needs only a gentle wipe over or dust with a micro-fibre cloth from time to time to keep it looking fresh.

All pieces come with a complimentary care pack which includes a small pot of touch up paint and wax or topcoat should you need it.
