This shape of lampshade was popular in the Victorian era.
Made from a sumptuous velvet by designer Becca Who featuring snakes, flowers and a beautiful butterfly.
The fabric is stretched, hand stitched to the frame and lined with an Ivory lining.
A layer of black fringe gives a luxurious feel whilst the bead trim catches the light beautifully when the lamp is switched on.
Available in 3 sizes (diameter):
- 14 inch - suitable for a table lamp
- 18 inch - suitable for a small floor lamp
- 22 inch - suitable for a large floor lamp
My lampshades come with a duplex fitting so they sit on a shade carrier which is supplied. They are suitable for UK fittings. If you are unsure feel free to ask!
If you want to hang your shade from a ceiling pendant just let me know and I’ll provide the appropriate fitting.
All of our lampshades are treated with a fire retardant spray. The use of a low watt bulb is recommended.
I normally have lampshades ready in 2-3 weeks but if you are in a rush just get in touch and I’ll do my best!
