Deciding which products to choose can be tricky, especially if you are new to furniture painting or are trying out a new brand. For those of you who haven't used Wise Owl before here is a brief guide to choosing between Wise Owl Natural Furniture Wax and Wise Owl Furniture Salves.

This is a clear, unscented, hemp oil based product.

It is a blend of hemp oil, coconut oil and three natural waxes. 

This product may have a slight amber cast on very light and bright white colours. If you are sealing colours such as SNOW OWL then use the NATURAL FURNITURE WAX 

Perfect for sealing Chalk Synthesis Paint and over bare wood. This product is great for reviving butchers blocks and wooden chopping boards.

Also great for restoring the insides of your pieces when a scented salve isn't desired. 

Scented furniture salves are available in a range of scents for all tastes. This is the exact same formula as the Unscented Hemp Salve only they contain essential oils which give you the scents. 

Perfect for using on the insides of you furniture pieces to revive and restore. The oil content will nourish the wood whilst the waxes offer protection. The hemp oil content will help to eliminate musty smells whilst the essential oils will leave a gorgeous scent reminiscent of a day at the spa! 

If you want to up your furniture painting game then you need this product in your kit bag!

This is our natural furniture wax which is coconut oil based. There is no hemp oil in this product. It is a blend of natural waxes and coconut oil. 

Choose this product if you want a wax finish on the very light colours and bright whites. 

There are no solvents in any of the Wise Owl Waxes or Salves making them kinder to the environment than traditional waxes.
