Chalk Paint was developed in 1990 by Annie Sloan, an experienced furniture painter and artist. It was created so that furniture could be transformed quickly using a paint that was suitable for creating endless decorative effects. And so Chalk Paint was born.
This versatile Chalk Paint for Furniture can be used on almost any surface. With incredible sticking power it can be used on wood, laminate, metal and more making it the perfect paint for beginners.
Its chalky appearance and flat, matte finish can transform your furniture from tired and worn to a creative, unique piece for your home.
Use on modern or vintage furniture, chairs and even doors or kitchen cabinets.
Chalk Paint can be layered and used thickly to create a rustic, textured vibe. It can also be easily distressed to show colours underneath or reveal some of the wood underneath the paint. For texture it is best to use a natural bristle brush when applying the Chalk Paint to furniture.
If you prefer a sleek, modern look then this can also be achieved with Chalk Paint. Adding a touch of water or dipping the tips of your brush in water before painting can help you to get a smooth finish.

When it comes to choosing paint stencils for your furniture transformation project, the options are endless. I stock a wide variety of stencil designs from two brands, Stencil Up! and Posh Chalk, so I have something for all tastes!
You can choose from classic patterns such as damask, fleur-de-lis, or Moroccan tiles, which are perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your furniture. If you prefer a more contemporary look, there are modern and abstract designs available as well. For those who love nature-inspired themes, floral and botanical stencils can be used to create stunning accents on your furniture. Stunning Art Deco designs are perfect for adding a touch of glam to those vintage pieces, well worth bringing out the metallic paint for!!
With so many options to choose from, you're sure to find the perfect stencil to elevate your furniture transformation project.
Posh Chalk stencils are available in a range of sizes and designs. These good quality stencils can be used again and again. and are great for walls and crafts as well as furniture.
Stencil Up offer a range of Art Deco and Art Nouveau designs in sizes A1, A2, A3 and A4. These are available as regular stencils or you can opt for a self adhesive backing to keep your stencil in place whilst you paint.
Before you start stencilling your furniture, it's important to choose the right pieces and paint that will work well with the stencil technique. When selecting furniture, look for pieces that have a smooth and flat surface, such as tables, dressers, chests of drawers, or cabinets. As for paint, opt for water-based or acrylic based furniture paints, as they are easy to work with and provide excellent coverage. These types of paint also dry quickly, allowing you to complete your project in a shorter amount of time. When it comes to choosing colours, consider the overall look and feel you want to achieve. Neutral tones such as white, grey, or beige can create a timeless and elegant look, while bold and vibrant colours can add a pop of personality to your furniture. And who doesn't love a bit of sparkle with some gorgeous metallic.
Proper preparation is key to achieving professional-looking results when stencilling your furniture. Start by cleaning your furniture thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or grease that may interfere with the paint adhesion. Use a good degreaser and warm water to clean the surfaces, and make sure to rinse and dry them completely before proceeding.
Next, sand the furniture lightly to create a smooth and even surface. This step is particularly important if you're working with a piece that has an existing finish or varnish. Sanding will help the paint adhere better and ensure a flawless result. After sanding, wipe away any dust with a clean cloth.
Now that your furniture is prepped and ready, it's time to start stencilling! Follow these step-by-step instructions to achieve stunning results:
1. Start by positioning the stencil on your furniture in the desired location. Use frog tape to secure the stencil in place, ensuring that it doesn't move during the painting process. You can also opt for the Stencil Up stencils with the self adhesive backing instead of using frog tape. You just need to peel off the backing and away you go!
2. Dip a stencil brush, roller or sponge into the paint of your choice. Make sure to remove any excess paint by dabbing it on a paper towel or a piece of cardboard. This will prevent the paint from bleeding under the stencil. You want your brush to be almost dry.
3. Begin stencilling by gently dabbing the brush or sponge over the stencil openings. If using a roller then roll lightly, Use a light touch and build up the colour gradually to achieve a smooth and even result.
4. Continue stencilling until you've covered the entire design. If you're using a repeating pattern stencil, make sure to align the stencil properly each time to create a seamless look.
5. Once you've finished stencilling, carefully remove the stencil from your furniture. Take your time and lift it straight up to avoid smudging the paint.
6. Allow the paint to dry completely before applying any additional coats or protective finishes.
By following these steps you'll soon become a master at stencilling your furniture and achieve professional-looking results.
To ensure your furniture transformation project is a success, here are some additional tips to keep in mind:
1. Use high-quality stencils: Invest in stencils made from durable materials that can be easily cleaned and reused. Cheap stencils may not provide clean lines and may wear out quickly. My recommendations are Posh Chalk Stencils or Stencil Up!
2. Practice on a sample board: Before stencilling your furniture, practice on a piece of scrap wood or cardboard to get a feel for the technique and test different paint colours and effects.
3. Apply light pressure: When stencilling, apply light pressure with the brush or sponge to avoid paint bleeding under the stencil. Build up the colour gradually for a flawless finish.
4. Clean stencils promptly: After each use, clean your stencils immediately to prevent paint build-up and ensure they can be reused in the future. Use warm soapy water and a sponge to gently clean the stencil, and pat it dry with a clean cloth.
5. Experiment with different techniques: Don't be afraid to experiment with different techniques, such as blending colours, layering stencils, or creating ombre effects. You can also create 3D or raised stencilling by mixing some Fusion Fresco to your paint to create a paste. This will add depth and dimension to your furniture and make it truly unique.
By following these tips, you'll be able to achieve professional-looking results and create stunning furniture pieces.
1. Avoid harsh cleaners: When cleaning your painted furniture, avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the paint and stencil. Instead, Dust with a soft cloth or use a mild soap and water if needed.
2. Use coasters and placemats: To protect your stencilled table tops from scratches and water rings, use coasters and placemats. This will prevent damage and keep your furniture looking pristine.
By following these maintenance tips, you'll be able to enjoy your stencilled furniture for years to come and keep it looking as beautiful as the day you created it.
Transforming your furniture with stunning paint stencils is a fun and creative way to give your space a fresh and stylish look.
By following the step-by-step guide and tips provided in this ultimate guide, you'll be able to achieve professional-looking results and create furniture pieces that reflect your unique style and taste.

Wise Owl's philosophy is to bring you premium products that don't pose harm to health or the environment. Furniture Salve is no exception! Made from a base of hemp and coconut oils with a blend of three natural waxes and scented with essential oils there is nothing harmful in its formula. Furniture waxes and polishes often contain fillers and solvents but you won't find them here!
The gorgeous scents range from fresh, summery and citrus to light feminine bouquets to deep masculine scents reminiscent of aftershave. These scents really do add an extra dimension to your furniture and enhances the customers experience. A real must have if you sell high end pieces or are looking to up your furniture painting game.
Well I use it on every piece that I paint.
Whilst older furniture is built to last and the result of quality craftsmanship there are some downsides. Old furniture is often stored in garages and shed where they can become damp and musty. The wood can soak up smells which can be tough to get rid of. Salve will not just cover up the smell but will help to eliminate it. Its anti-fungal, antibacterial properties will kill mildew, fungus and bacterial that cause odour. Just clean then apply the salve!
I paint a lot of chests of drawers and my drawers get salved inside and out. Not only will the salve get rid of the musty smells it will help the drawers to glide effortlessly protecting the runners, reviving and restoring the old finish and offering a layer of protection.
To apply use on of Wise Owl's PREMIUM WAX BRUSHES, leave it to soak in for 20 minutes then buff off!
Wise Owl Furniture Salve is great for polishing metal. Be it handles or hinges just get some salve on a cloth and give them a clean up!
Whether is a pair of leather shoes, your sofa or the leather insert in a writing desk Wise Owl Furniture Salve is the perfect product to restore it!
Leather can dry out over time and this all natural product will rejuvenate it and leave it smelling great - like a day at the spa!
Apply using a soft rag, leave to soak in then buff off.
You can use Wise Owl Salve instead of traditional waxes to seal Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint. It is especially good for dark colours, enriching and adding depth to deep navy and rich blacks.
Apply then buff off. If it is patchy then add a second coat. As the furniture salve is free from solvents it can take a day or two to dry. Just keep buffing to help it along. Cure time is 28 days.
Wise Owl Salve will revive imperfections in existing finishes and help to make them less visible. Use instead of traditional furniture polishes.
You can also use over bare wood, enhancing to grain with the nourishing oils whilst the waxes will offer that layer of protection.
But it doesn't stop there...
It makes a great cleaner for stainless steel appliances, my husband even uses it to polish up the interior of his van!
Gentle enough to be used on skin whilst you are working away on your furniture you hands will get a good moisturise too!
So what are you waiting for?!

One of the questions that regularly pops up when chatting to customers is 'How to Decoupage on Furniture'?
It can seem intimidating but once you know how it is actually fairly easy to decoupage on furniture.
I stock the decoupage papers from MINT by Michelle. These papers were made with furniture refurbishment in mind and are sized accordingly. MINT by Michelle papers come in a huge range of designs for all tastes.
Step one is to take a look at the surface you want to apply your decoupage paper to. You can apply these papers to furniture, wood, leather, upholstery, plastic and much more! If your surface is dark the your first step would be to paint with a light coloured paint or primer. This will help to brighten the image as the papers as semi-transparent.
Step Two - If you are applying your decoupage paper to a surface that is larger than your paper and you intend to blend in with paint you can tear the edges of your paper to soften the transition. It helps to dampen the edges of your paper before you tear.
Step Three - Position your decoupage paper where you want it to go and hold in place with a good low tack masking tape such as yellow Frog Tape.
Step Four- Open your tub of Bunty's Decoupage Glue and Finish, lift your paper and using a brush work in small stripes from the top. You need to apply a stripe of glue then using a soft brush smooth down the centre of the paper then out to the sides. Work all the way down to the bottom so that your whole paper is stuck down and smoothed out.
There are a couple of tools that will help to make this step easier. The Posh Chalk Smooth and Spalter Brush or the MINT Brayer will help you to get a smooth finish.
Once you have completed these steps your piece is ready for painting. You can paint over your decoupage paper to blend it in, get creative with some Saltwash to create texture or simply put a border around!
I hope this blog post has helped you with your project and you now know how to decoupage on to furniture.

]]>One of the most common furniture painters’ questions I come across is ‘How do you get a streak free finish using top coat over dark colours?’.
Well it isn’t easy! If you are using a matte varnish the mattifying agents are the cause of those milky white streaks you see. Satin varnish has a smaller amount of mattifying agents which is why satin varnish can be easier to get right. Dark colours are especially tricky and even more so if you want a matte finish!
I go in to detail and demonstrate how to avoid that annoying clouding when using top coats over dark colours on my Facebook group.
My group is always open to new members and is the best place to pick up tips and learn the art of furniture painting:
Thirteen Furniture Painters Community
Here are my top tips for getting a smooth, streak free finish over dark colours.
1. Make sure you paint is thoroughly dry - leave for a minimum of 24 hours
2. Mix your top coat really well, making sure everything from the bottom is incorporated in to the varnish
3. Add a touch of your paint to the top coat to colour it slightly
4. Use a suitable brush (such as Bunty’s Finishing Coat Brush) being careful not to overload
5. Apply an even coat, don’t overwork your varnish.
I can’t recommend Bunty’s Acrylic Lacquer enough. It is the easiest to work with top coat that I’ve found and at only £7.95 it won’t break the bank!
I hope these tips help you to get a streak free finish using matte varnish over dark colours. If you want to know more then head over to my Facebook group. Thirteen Furniture Painters Community.
Black furniture can be elegant and sleek or distressed for a rustic, farmhouse look. It can be a difficult colour to get right and what is the best way to top coat black furniture paints for durability?
This handy guide will help you to choose the best black furniture paint for the look you are trying to achieve.
Wise Owl One Hour Enamel in JET BLACK is exactly what it says it is, Jet Black. This is a great choice for a black furniture paint as it doesn't need a top coat.
One Hour Enamel is a durable finish which is great for kitchen and bathroom cabinets and furniture.
It has a soft sheen to it which is between and eggshell and a satin finish. The colour really is JET BLACK.
I would recommend this paint for a sleek, modern look. The sheen looks especially good on pieces with curves.
Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint in BLACK is a versatile paint. It self levels beautifully for a velvety finish but can be mixed with Saltwash if you want a more rustic or textured look.
This paint is great for more rustic finishes. Paint with texture or dip your paint brush tips in water for a smoother finish. Looks fab on pretty oak chests of drawers with a wax finish!
As with all chalky finish paints it needs sealing. Wax is a great option for black and will dry to a natural matte finish but can be buffed up to a sheen. Wax leaves a very natural feel to pieces and looks great over distressed and rustic finishes.
Varnish is a more durable option and great for a more modern finish but can be tricky to get a streak free finish, especially matte.
Here are some tips if you do decide to varnish:
• Mix thoroughly making sure you incorporate everything from the bottom of the pot.
•Make sure you have enough on your brush but don’t overload.
•Don’t overwork. If you miss a bit then go over it on your next coat.
• Try adding 10% black paint to your varnish to colour it.
Bunty's Mineral Paint in TOTAL ECLIPSE.
Bunty’s is a beautifully smooth mineral paint which is comparable to Fusion but without the price tag.
It dries to a smooth eggshell finish.
With this paint you can add a coat of Natural Furniture Wax to add some extra durability or you can coat with Bunty’s Acrylic Lacquer.
With Bunty’s paints sides and legs don’t necessarily need a top coat but I would recommend adding extra protection for tops and areas the will get a lot of use.
Cornish Milk Mineral Paint in BLACK ROCK.
Another mineral paint option. Cornish Milk Mineral Paint is a thicker paint than Bunty’s and dries to a matte finish as opposed to Bunty's slight eggshell sheen.
Again it can be top coated with wax or varnish for added durability.
There is a lot more I could say about different paints and top coats but I will leave it there for now! I hope this gives you an insight in to the different paints and finished that are available as well as helping you choose your perfect black furniture paint!

You can create some stunning and unique pieces of furniture by using decoupage. On my website you will find a huge range of images available in both A3 and A1 sizes which are perfect for furniture.
Here you will find MINT by Michelle decoupage papers which are a quality paper with clear images. There are also now a range of images available in reverse. Great for if you are using them on a cupboard with 2 doors as mirror images or if the reverse paper just suits your piece better.
Posh Chalk Decoupage Papers are a quality rice paper with fibres running through to create a more textured look. Posh Chalk have collaborated with Jonathan Mark Mendes to bring you The House of Mendes range of luxury papers.
You can find all of these decoupage papers for furniture on my website.
Decoupage papers can be glued down with a range of mediums. Bunty's Decoupage Glue and Finish is a great all purpose option at a really good price.
Posh Chalk Infusor, Wise Owl Varnish and Wise Owl One Hour Enamel in clear are also good options.
My Top Tip is to use the same medium to glue down your paper as you do to finish it. This helps to stop the glue reactivating and causing bubble in your paper when you come to top coat.
Once you've chosen your paper you will need to choose your paint. Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint is a great paint for blending and comes in a fabulous range of rich colours. If you are confident you can use paint to blend in to your image and carry it on around your piece.
If you need to disguise edges and create texture then add some Saltwash to your paint. Using Saltwash and applying with a pallet knife can create an oil painted look with goes well with some of the art work images.
If you are not confident blending, fear not! There are other ways you can disguise the edges if your image doesn't fully fit your piece.
WoodUbend Mouldings can be used to create a frame around your image. You can use individual designs or or a trim to edge the image.
You could even just paint on a frame using metallics. Again add some Saltwash to create a hammered metal effect. This works well on some of the old art work images such as the Young Girl Reading.
Stencils can be used to disguise edging by introducing a design and bringing it to overlap the paper. Use contrasting colours or metallics for a striking effect. Or keep it low key by using similar colours.
Raised stencils are another option. Again you can mix Saltwash with your paint or use a ready mixed paste such as Posh Chalk Smooth Paste.
I hope this blog post gives you some inspiration!
Happy Decoupaging!!

]]>I often come along to my blog or my Facebook group 'Thirteen Furniture Project Group UK' (if you fancy joining us!) and give information and tips on painting furniture and the products that I stock.
But once you have that piece painted and you are happy with it and want to put up for sale then you need to get some good photos. So, How do you stage painted furniture?
In this blog post I'm going to give you some tips on how to stage your painted furniture for sale.
The staging of your piece can say just as much about it as the piece itself. A lot of furniture artists become instantly recognisable not just for their painting style but for the way they stage their pieces too.
Firstly, I would recommend using props that are in keeping with the style of the piece. If you have painted or upcycled a mid century piece then you might consider using some retro props. Similarly if you have a drinks cabinet then cocktail shakers, fancy bottles and glasses will do the job! You could even bring out the lemons and limes!
Secondly, you need to think about colours. Having props that match the hardware and handles will create balance. If you have gold drawer pulls then a gold vase or ornament will work well. But also you need that eye-catching pop of colour. This can come in the form of flowers, art work or interesting objects that get the attention of the buyer. A colour wheel is a useful tool when deciding on colours.
Thirdly, are your props the right size for the piece? Larger pieces may be able to carry pieces of artwork or a clock but if your piece is smaller you don't want the eye of the viewer to be drawn away from the piece. If your props are over powering then a potential customer may not know if it is the furniture or the prop that is for sale!
Choosing the right props is just one part of staging your furniture for sale. You also need a good quality photo.
Some points to consider are:
Does the background compliment the piece? Neutral backgrounds are always good as they don't detract away from the piece. If you have a staging area you are going to use regularly then it needs to suit every piece you are going to paint.
Your photo quality is important. Yes, your buyer is going to zoom in to check out your paint job before they part with their hard earned cash!
Good lighting and a clear image with good additional images to show several angles is a must. Your main image should be straight and make sure the piece doesn't look like it is going to tip over or slide off your screen!
These days you don't need a fancy camera to get an amazing photo. Most phone cameras are more than good enough.
I hope this brief insight in to the world of staging furniture for sale has been helpful.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

]]>Waxing furniture leaves a gorgeous natural finish. Sealing your Chalk Synthesis Paint with wax with strengthen and protect your paint whilst leaving a velvety matte finish.
Zibra Paint Brushes are more specialist than standard paint brushes. They are made with application in mind with a desire to alleviate issues that painters may have. Each brush is design with a specific application in mind to tackle any job with ease. The different shaped brush heads allows the brush to 'mould' around the area that is being painted making application easier and more enjoyable.
Zibra Paint Brushes are designed to have the right balance of softness of the tip of the bristles whilst retaining stiffness. This results in ultra smooth paint release. Zibra Paint Brushes have around 25% more pack out than standard brushes.
The Palm Pro Paint Brush is designed to be an extension of your hand making it easy to get in to tight spaces.
The Round Brush is perfect for painting spindles, chair legs and trims with details. It works really well on round surfaces.
The Chiseled Wedge Brush is great for edges and trimmings but can also be used over large flat areas as it has maximum pick up and release for smooth and easy painting.
The Square Brush has a narrow square head with a large pack out meaning it holds a good amount of paint resulting in less dips. This shape is great for things like narrow moulding on furniture and can be used for areas like window frames.
The Angled Brush is essential where precision is a must. Perfect for painting next to trims where exact lines and control is needed.
Whatever your project you are bound to find a Zibra Paint Brush that will do the job!

]]>Stunning and unique piece of furniture can be created by using decoupage. Our Mint By Michelle Decoupage paper is made with furniture decoupage in mind. There are a range of beautiful images to choose from.
Whether it is one of the MOODY FLORALS , the iconic FRIDA KHALO or an Old Masters painting you will need to know how to decoupage on furniture to make you piece a success!
There are two methods to use to decoupage on furniture. You can create an aged and more authentic look by using the cling wrap method. Or, you can go for a smooth flat finish using the iron on method. Either way, this blog post will talk you through how to decoupage on furniture.
Prep
The first step is to prep your piece. You will need to remove all hard ware and give the piece a good clean. We recommend BIOCLEAN by Cornish Milk Mineral Paint. Any holes, deep scratches or imperfections can be filled.
Next a scuff sand followed by a wipe clean with plain water.
You can paint your furniture in a base colour depending on the design. A white or light base coat will produce a brighter image than a dark colour. Or you can go straight on the decoupage steps depending on the surface of the piece.
Cling Wrap Method
For this method you need to start by applying your chosen image medium or mod podge to a small area. We recommend Wise Owl Varnish as a medium. You can also use Wise Owl One Hour Enamel Clear Coat but be aware that this dried faster than the varnish so will give you less working time.
Place your decoupage paper over the area, making sure it is in the position you require it to be. Use your scrunched up cling wrap to rub down the decoupage paper so that it adheres to the surface.
You then need to repeat the process until your whole paper is attached to the piece. Gluing and smoothing down a small area at a time.
Once the full decoupage paper is attached to the piece you can finish using your chosen varnish. If you want to age the piece further you can lightly sand in between coats of varnish.
Iron On Method
For this method the first step is to cover the whole surface that you will be decoupaging with your chosen image medium or mod podge. Let it dry and then repeat so that you have 2 good coats on your surface. Make sure they have had sufficient time to dry. Again, you can use Wise Owl Varnish or One Hour Enamel Clear Coat for this method.
Next you need to place the decoupage paper over the dried glued surface and place a piece of baking parchment over the image. Starting in the middle and working outwards use an iron on a medium heat to attach the image to the furniture. The heat from the iron will activate the medium or glue and attach the image to the surface.
You may need to iron over it 2 or 3 times to make sure it is fully secured.
Finish your chosen varnish.

When we find vintage and antique furniture for restoration they often come with lots of dinks and dents and physical evidence of a past life. But what about smells? Furniture can hold all sorts of smells that is also evidence of its past life. So how do you get musty smells out of furniture?
There are lots of tried and tested methods that can offer some help to get musty smells out of furniture. Vodka, white vinegar, bicarbonate soda, cat litter and many more!
First and foremost your furniture needs a really good clean. Cornish Milk Mineral Paint BIOCLEAN is a great product for removing grease and grime but can also help to remove some of those musty old smells.
But my favourite discovery is Wise Owl Furniture Salve. Wise Owl Furniture Salve is made from a base of hemp and coconut oils and a blend of natural waxes. It is available in a range of different scents which are created from essential oils and also available in unscented. But how does it work? How does it get musty smells out of furniture?
One of the main ingredients in Wise Owl Furniture Salve is hemp oil. Hemp oil is naturally anti-microbial, anti-fungal and odour neutralising. This means that it does help to get rid of those nasty smells and not just cover them up.
The oils soak in to the wood to condition and restore whilst the wax cures to create a durable finish. This makes it perfect to use on the inside of every piece you restore.
The fabulous scents will really add that something extra to pieces if you restore furniture to sell on. A must if you want to up your restoration game!
Wise Owl Furniture Salve can be applied using a brush or cloth. The 1.5 inch Wax Brush is a fabulous brush to use for the insides of furniture as it is more flexible than the larger brushes for getting in to corners but still covers a large area. Once applied a soft cloth can be used to wipe back and excess. The salves do not contain any solvents so can take a little while to dry, just come back and give it a buff. Its ease of application makes it a pleasure to work with and it is gentle on skin. The hardest part is choosing a scent!
Wise Owl Furniture Salve has a multitude of uses, not just to get the musty smells out of furniture. It can be used to seal paint, restore bare wood, revive leather and remove the tarnish from metal. And much, much more.
]]>Chalky finish paints need to be sealed for durability but often when applying a top coat that lovely matte, chalky finish is changed leaving an unwanted sheen. so how do you create a matte black finish?
Black and very dark colours can be the most difficult to top coat. Traditional waxes can look patchy and matte varnishes can cause a range of problems. The mattifying agents in varnish can cause streaks and can make the black not look quite as black! Varnishing the darkest of colours isn't impossible and great results can be achieved but again, even matte varnish can take away that true chalky finish.
Over the years I have used many black chalky paints and I have found Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint to be the richest, darkest black.
Wise Owl Hemp Oil Wax is the perfect product for creating a true matte black finish and keeping that deep black colour. Hemp Oil Wax is made from a base of hemp and coconut oils with a blend of three natural waxes. That's it! No nasties and no solvents which make it kinder to the environment. The hemp oil leaves a beautiful matte finish whist the waxes add to the durability and water resistance.
For best results apply the Hemp Oil Wax with a wax brush. As you brush it on you will see the oils nourish the paint, deepening the colour. Its ease of application isn't tough on your hands like some traditional waxes that need to be pushed in to every brush stroke. Once applied the Hemp Oil Wax will soak in to the paint and any excess can be gently wiped off with a cloth. The Hemp Oil Wax can take a little while to dry and periodically coming back to it to gently buff as it dries will help achieve a lovely even and durable finish. Hemp Oil Wax takes around 28 days to fully cure. Over the years you can add additional layers of wax to maintain durability. But there you have a beautiful matte black finish.
